Wild Angelz, Love Denied CD Review

Comments Off 11 February 2011

Aurora, CO – Love Denied is the debut album for local Denver Rockers Wild Angelz.  The local five member  band released their first studio recording in March of 2010, on the Indienink Music Label.  The album contains five tracks that where recorded at the Macy Sound Studio in Denver and were Engineered by Clark Hagan for Clark Hagan Productions.

The songs on the album are well written and intricate, with a melodically heavy rock base, a sound that was at it’s most popular in the late 80′s and through the 90′s.The first song is the title track off the album Love Denied, witch starts out with a slower tempo and progressively increases, and includes a great guitar solo and by far is the stand out song on the CD.

For the remaining songs on the CD, they follow the same format with an average time of roughly four and a half  minutes in length, and contain a solid heavy beat and very well developed guitar work.   With their first release under their belt, the Wild Angelz are well on their way to becoming a major player in the Denver music scene, and it will be interesting to see what the next CD from Wild Angelz be like after the band has had some time to write more songs and develop their sound on a live stage.
